Dear Theresa and Family, I rarely check my Facebook account and have just learned of Claude's passing. The years have passed all too quickly and your 20 years together must seem as though you were just getting started. I am generating my most heartfelt prayers of comfort in the midst of your brokenness. May God's blessings remain close to you in this time of sorrow. Love, Bev Hardesty

I cannot believe that the love of my life, my best friend and my soul mate is gone. Even though my heart is breaking, there remains a sense of joy and gratitude that I was blessed with 20 wonderful years with the kindest and most generous man I have ever known. Every marriage has its ups and downs and we had our share of both. Through it all, we remained the couple that still held hands, still laughed loudly and often, still enjoyed long, intimate conversations and still shared our hopes and dreams for the future together. No matter what challenges life presented to us, we were always able to face them with courage and even a sense of humor; because we had each other. I know in my heart and my soul that he will continue to walk beside me for as many years as I may remain here in this world, and that when it is my time to to leave he will be waiting for me with his arms wide open to welcome me home. I love you baby, always and forever.
