John Newton Graham Jr. age 70, passed away unexpectedly on May 12, 2020 at his home in Pearl Beach, MI. He was born September 17, 1949 in Pontiac, MI. to the late John N. and Marilyn (Best) Graham Sr. and was the eldest of eight sons. He attended schools in Warren and Capac, MI. before joining the U.S. Army and serving during the Vietnam Conflict. Upon his discharge he completed training as a diesel mechanic and eventually found his way as an automotive machinist. In September 1971, he married Darlene Whitmer and had two sons John N. Graham III and James Luther Graham., and a daughter Andrea M. Graham. He loved Northern Michigan and spent the last thirty years in Lewiston and Lovells, before returning to Pearl Beach, MI.

As a loving father he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends fishing, hunting and trail riding. John truly did enjoy the outdoors and was looking forward to the annual Morel Mushroom Hunt with his sons this season up north. As a devoted son he cared for both of his parents until their death.
