A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 PM Saturday October 30, 2021 at the Algonac Lions Club, 1905 Mill Street, Algonac, MI. 48001. A second Celebration of Life, for Florida friends and family members, will be held on Saturday February 19, 2022 at  the Morrow Residence in Ridge Manor, FL.

Kay Thompson Morrow age 73 of Algonac, MI. passed away September 26, 2021 in the Ascension River District Hospital.  She was born February 15, 1948 in Monroe, MI. to the late Norval and Miriam (nee Root) Thompson.  She married Winslow Robert “Bob” Morrow August 17, 1968 in Mt. Pleasant, MI.

Kay was former member of the Algonac Lioness Club, a member of the Piece to Peace Quilters of Algonac, and sewing groups such the Kindred Spirits, and the Feathered Princess. She was also a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and enjoyed spending time with the Michigan Quarter Horse Association.

Mrs. Morrow is survived by her husband Winslow “Bob”, children Thompson (Lesa) Morrow, Jesse Morrow, and Meggen (Josh) Baynes, grandchildren Addison Baynes, Owen Morrow, and Brooke Morrow, a sister Ann (Gene) Sisinyak, nieces Fay Green, Eileen Bert, Connie Buick, Karen Savarino, and Cheryl Carroll, and several extended family members. She was preceded in death by a sister Jane Gruber.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 PM Saturday October 30, 2021 at the Algonac Lions Club, 1905 Mill Street, Algonac, MI. 48001. A second celebration of life, for Florida friends and family members, will be held on Saturday February 19, 2022 at  the Morrow Residence in Ridge Manor, FL.  Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made c/o Meggen Baynes in Kay’s memory, to Canine Companions’ Rescue Center, Horses Haven and to a continuing education fund set up by the Morrow Family for the ICU nurses at Ascension River District Hospital.
