Shirley Diana Allen age 87 of Clay Twp., MI. and formerly of Harper Woods, MI. passed away February 10, 2022 in the Village of East Harbor Chesterfield, MI. She was born August 26, 1934 in Kansas City, MO. to the late John and Elizabeth (nee Anderson) Smith. She married William Robert Allen Sr. on August 24, 1968 in Paw Paw, MI. he passed away May 27, 1989.
Shirley was a former member of the Resurrection Lutheran Church of Detroit.
Mrs. Allen is survived by her daughter Michelle (Jerry Schmidt) Allen-Rezak, and sisters Judy and Sandra. She was preceded in death by a son William Robert Allen Jr., a brother John “Jack” Smith, and a sister-in-law Janet Allen-Ransier.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI.
