Ruth M. Atkins age 88 formerly of Algonac, MI. passed away November 20, 2019 in her daughter’s home surrounded by family. She was born May 28, 1931 in Walpole Island, Canada to the late Victor and Agnes (nee Sands) Ermatinger. Ruth was a long-time member of the Starville Church in Cottrellville Twp., MI. Mrs. Atkins is survived by her children Yvonne (John) Luther, Harvey Ermatinger, Darlene (the late Ken) Marzolf, and Denise Atkins, 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson Gordon Marzolf. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 PM Saturday November 23, 2019 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac.
