Arden Wilford Tiley, Age 94 of Algonac, Michigan, passed away October 31, 2020 at the Regency at Westland, in Westland, Michigan in hospice care from kidney failure.
Arden was born in Akron, Ohio and wed Mary Anne Louise (Graham) Tiley in 1950 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. They were married for seventy years.
Arden served in the U.S. Army (Private 1st Class) in Arkansas, Georgia and Illinois, before an honorable discharge was received from Fort Sheridan in 1946.
He had a Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees. He and Mary Anne lived with their three children in Detroit, Michigan for thirty-three years and Algonac, Michigan for twenty-five years. Arden enjoyed reading and writing, attending church, town events and frequent visits from family.
Arden is survived by his wife, Mary Anne Louise (Graham) Tiley; his children John M. (and Kimberly) Tiley, Susan K. Tiley, and Anne E. Tiley (and Don) Fairchild. He is also survived by his 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his parents Clyde F. Tiley and Hilda G. (Pfahl) Tiley, and second wife to Clyde, Doris L. (Morton) Tiley.
